CONTESTANT ELIGIBILITY

The contest is sponsored by Blue Ridge Outdoors and Adventure on the Gorge. Employees of the sponsors are not eligible. No purchase or entry fees are required. Subject to all state and local laws.

Photographs must non-commercial. The contest is for entertainment only and not to promote any company or organization.  Photos may be removed without warning if they do not meet the standards of the contest.

Each photo will adhere to the following categories. Photos must be original and copyrighted. Photos should be consistent with the Summit Publishing brand and lifestyle. Photo must have been taken within the Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine foot print (Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Metro DC). Photo may not have been submitted to any other Cover Photo Contest and no rights given for the photo to be used as a cover photo in another publication during the current or following year. Winning photographer must agree that the winning photo will be exclusive to Blue Ridge Outdoors magazine and not used within any other campaigns or covers over the next 365 days.

Submissions for the contest will commence on June 6th, 2023 at 12 PM (noon) EST and end on June 23th, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST.  Voting for the finalists will commence on June 28th, 2023 and end on July 12th, 2022 at 11:59 PM EST. The Contestant may enter up to four photographs. Any additional submissions above four will be disqualified. Each photo will adhere to the following categories.  Photos must be original and copyrighted. Photos should be consistent with the Summit Publishing brand and lifestyle. Photo must have been taken within the Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine foot print (Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Metro DC). The contest must be entered by visiting https://photo.blueridgeoutdoors.com/ and by completing the form by providing your name, email address and uploading photos.

Entries must be solely the original work of the entrant. Copyright infringement is grounds for immediate disqualification.  If the entries contain any material that the sponsors deem, in their sole discretion, to be morally objectionable, inappropriate or unfit for publication, such entry will be immediately disqualified.
